I was born in Siegburg, close to Cologne. At the age of 22, a friend introduced me to the gay scene in Cologne, where I quickly felt at home. This was where I found friends, opponents and stories.

When I then started writing, one thing was clear for me: I would only write about gay men and that, against all resistance (whereby many have already forgotten, that the acceptance was not so high in the eighties as it is now).

I wrote my first words on an old, rickety portable typewriter. As was unable to save my work as with a modern PC, I lost 1 of my 6 novels. However, I did not give up and continued to write tirelessly, although I did not succeed. Every budding author is well aware of the letters of rejection which all have the same wording.

I do not live in the limelight. I believe that I can say that I am a socially committed person who does not search for the camera flashlights or microphones. If you search for my photos on the Internet, you will not find more than two. I prefer to concentrate on my writing.
